The performance “Maelstrom” is part of the contemporary circus and street arts festival RE RĪGA! 2026!
The dynamic and visually striking work “Maelstrom” combines aerial straps, partner acrobatics, dance, physical theatre, and classical music to explore questions of masculinity and vulnerability. Through humour, emotion, and surprise, the performance reflects on masculinity, its history, and its many interpretations. Rather than offering answers, it follows the journey of two men discovering themselves and their relationship with one another, inviting audiences to reflect on the grey areas within these themes.
