The performance “60 Degrees Between Us” is part of the contemporary circus and street arts festival RE RĪGA! 2026.
The performance is inspired by social psychologist Stanley Milgram’s theory of six degrees of separation, which suggests that each of us is connected to one another through no more than six people. Combining this idea with the practice of aerial acrobatics, artist Camille Paycha has created an intimate yet collective experience accompanied by live music. The work explores the boundary between care and risk, creating an engaging and collaborative space: a drummer on a rolling platform, aerial acrobats suspended in the air, and audience members whose presence becomes part of the event.
